Turkish-English Translator

When analyzing files in Trados to calculate word counts, sometimes you may not have a translation memory (TM) for previous files. When Trados analyzes files, however, it creates a temporary TM for its analysis. So if you have two projects (let's call them A and B) you can analyze the second project based on what matches it would find in the first project. To do this, first analyze the files for Project A. Then Clear the list of files to translate in the Analyze Files window (don't close the window), Add the files for Projct B and click the "Use TM from previous analysis" button. Voila! It will analyze project B and calculate fuzzy matches and 100% matches just as if you had a TM created for Project A.

When using MetaTexis in a LAN environment with shared translation memories, errors can occur when the link between the user and the server is broken. This can happen in a number of ways: the server could be accidentally or unknowingly shut down, the network connection could fail, or the network cable could accidentally be disconnected. Whatever the case, you will notice that Word will lock up on the user's machine. The only way to resolve this problem is to forcibly close Word (End Process from the Task Manager) and restart it. After that, you may find that the TM is corrupted. When a Metatexis TM is corrupted in this way, there are two ways to fix it:

1. Open it with MS Access, where you can Repair and Compact the database.
2. Create a new TM and import the data from the broken TM. That will create all new data
